Meet Ruby Caine

Ruby Caine grew up in a family which ran a weekly newspaper in a small Louisiana parish. The seventh child of eight, she suffered from ADHD and dyslexia. Instead of paying attention in school, Ruby often dreamed up adventurous stories. Her favorite tales involve dashing, strong heroes and the sassy women they fall in love with. Hero childhood heroes include Adam from the Ponderosa, John Wayne, and the professor from Gilligan’s Island. She married her own hero in 1990 and they have four children, two who arrived after Ruby turned 40. Oh the stories she can tell about going through menopause while handing two toddlers less than two years apart, a precocious seven year old and an overachieving teenager.
